Playing at Scrap Around the World July Challenge 15

Hi there!

This is my first time playing the challenge at Scrap Around The World.

Below is the Mood Board by Tusia Lech.

And my take is…

What inspired me when I first looked at the Mood Board are the blue and pink colours and the vintage feel of the table lamp… and that prompted me to dig out a photo of myself when I was still a little girl.. and that photo was taken like decades ago… : )

I used a 12 by 12 white Cardstock and created the background with various mediums – Inktense Blocks, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Viva Pink), Clear Gesso, Heavy Gel Medium, Distress Stain (Spun Sugar), Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry), VesaMagic(Ocean Depth), Ranger clear embossing powder…

I enjoy working with the mediums.. No hard and fast rules for me.. Just playing with them until I am satisfied with the look.

The Stars layering are created from Sizzix STARS Framelits Die Set.
