Playing at Off the Rails August Challenge…

30 Aug

Sharing in this post is a layout created for the Off the Rails August Challenge – Mood Palette with Sketch

Below are the Sketch and Mood Palette…
August Sketch

August Colour Palette

And my take is…

Mickey on page

Mickey has been my favourite childhood cartoon character.. don’t ask me why.. I just find him cute with the Big Ears.. perhaps.. haha!

The background was created with stencils and bubble wrap following close to the colours from the mood palette.

I had done a fussy cut of Mickey, of a photo I took when I visited the Disneyland in California 2 years back.

The circles were die cut using Sizzix Framelits Circles Die. I had stamped at top and bottom edges using a wording background stamp applied with Ranger Distress Ink – Black Soot.

The close ups…

The alphas were Glitter Chipboards from American Crafts and I sprayed them with Mister Huey’s mists to coat the originally white.

Thank you for coming by! Hope this bright layout cheer up your weekend. : )
Feel free to drop me a note. : )
