Happy Monkey Year!

9 Feb

Hey there!

Happy Monkey Year to all who are celebrating the Chinese New Year!

Today is the second day of the first month of the lunar calendar and this year marks the Monkey year according to Chinese zodiac.
The cloud dies and the monkey image are from Mama Elephant. The tiny bow is from Waffle Flower and the Chinese wordings are from Cotton Bunnies – a local online store.

For those who don’t read Chinese – the word “恭喜发财” which “Gong Xi (恭喜)” means congratulations and “Fa Cai (发财)” means “to become rich”. Thus, “Gong Xi Fa Cai” means “WIshing you to be prosperous in the coming year”.

As for ”万事如意”, it means “May all your wishes be fulfilled”.

Hope this adorable card cheer you up even if you do not celebrate the Chinese New Year!

Thank you for popping by! : )
