Customized wedding card envelope…

3 Mar

Hi there!

I am sharing this envelope card which I had made for a colleague who hosted her wedding on the beach at our popular tourists cum locals attractions at Sentosa. This is my first time attending a beach wedding as most couples here in Singapore hosted their banquets in air-conditioned venues. It was a lovely experience… Thankfully, we were blessed with a great evening of good weather and enjoying the sea breeze was such a bliss.

In our Chinese custom, we usually insert money into a red packet presented to the wedding couple as a token of good wishes. Red is considered a symbol of good luck and happiness.

And yes, you don’t see a RED packet here… I differ from the usual norm and made this card for Mel. Since her wedding is on the beach and she likes blue, my main color scheme is thus blue.

The wedding coupke stamp image is from Lili of the Valley – a stamp manufacturing company in UK. They have lovely stamps and do check out their web if desire. 🙂
